Physical Exercise and Ulcers

A study published in the Western Journal of Medicine showed that men who are physically active are clearly less likely to have gastric or duodenal ulcers compared to men who are not physically active. The researchers who conducted this study believe that physical exercise helps to tone the immune system, to decrease stress and to reduce gastric acid production.

There are many advantages to exercising. Now we can add preventing gastric and duodenal ulcers to the list.
