Excerpt from a letter by R.G. Lapierre (78 years old)
La Macaza, Quebec, September 2nd 1997

I've been doing your exercises for over a month. They helped me so much that I've stopped taking my arthritis medication. And believe me, I don't feel any worse.
That's why I sincerely want to thank you both; it's because of you that my health has improved so much.

Arthritis and Osteoarthritis
Excerpt from the article "Vivez-santé, vivez heureux"
Le Journal de Montréal, February 28th 1998

Some say that osteoarthritis, in its moderate form, can be considered a natural consequence of aging. However, this stage of joint degeneration is not unavoidable, even at an advanced aged. This erosion of the joints can be avoided by adopting healthy habits.
First of all, with every kind of arthritis, it is essential to eat foods that are less rich in protein and purines. Eating more fresh fruits and vegetables is recommended.
It's important to do at least a minimum amount of physical exercises that don't put pressure on the painful joints. We should never hurt an inflamed joint. By exercising the healthy joints, general circulation is improved, favoring better overall health.

Excerpt from a letter by Rita Bellavance
Beloeil, Quebec, August 1st 2001

I had pain in my back every time I lifted anything a little heavy. Even vacuuming hurt.

I went to my doctor. He took an X-ray. His diagnosis was osteoarthritis… My doctor said: "It's irreversible because of your age" (60 years old, at the time). I was discouraged.

Now I'm 63, and I can do anything I want without pain. The pain in my spine and shoulders disappeared. I've done the exercises regularly for the last 6 months.

I took the course you gave here in Namur. I suffered from osteoarthritis in the knee and couldn't bend it anymore. I did the exercises 6 times a week and I can now bend it again.

Otterburn Park, Quebec, November 23, 2001

I have osteoarthritis and all the pain that goes with it. To make a long story short: in December, 2000 my doctor sent me to physiotherapy for treatment using heat. They also gave me stretching exercises to do at home. After two to three weeks of stretching I felt much better.

By pure chance, I got to spend a week with Dorothée and Jacques for the stretching course.

Thanks to their video tape and my faithfulness to my exercises, I'm at a point where I don't take medication anymore. I'm more flexible, and the pain is now at a minimal and tolerable level.

Excerpt from a letter from Myriam Verlaet-Delflandre
Cours-Saint-Étienne, Belgium, September 18, 2001

In April 2001, I had many small health problems that were ruining my life: chronic sinusitis, leg pain due to varicose veins that really hurt when the weather got hot, periarthritis in the left shoulder, and rheumatism left over from the Lyme disease I contracted in the summer of 2000.

After your conference, I didn't hesitate to sign up for the course that started on the Monday. On Monday, I couldn't sit on my heels. On Tuesday, I went a little lower, and on Wednesday... Hurray! I could do it!

After the third day of the course, I got up in the morning without having to take the homeopathic medication that I had to take practically every day for years, for sinusitis. That day, I didn't have a headache.

Today I continue to stretch every day: no more sinusitis, no more periarthritis, and no more leg pains, even during the hottest days of summer
